Currently (feb 2002) it is not described that the file $SRC_ROOT/config_office/configure.in should be checked and/or modified: IT SHOULD!
configure
This script file will build the environment for the tools. If this one is not correct, forget about all the rest...
The file: $HPUX_ROOT/dmake/configure
should be modified,
It should contain: probably this
Be certain that you use the csh.
When you launch: /configure you should get this
The configure script, creates on the fly a number of other intermediate script files, which can be check or re-launched manually:
- config.status: responsible for creating the Makefiles.
Often, the script will run without serious or fatal errors. Unfortunately, this is no proof of succes! Things to check:
- a file should be created with a name like HpuxHpEnv.Set
a number of makefiles should have been created AND FILLED!
- makefile
- unix/Makefile
- startup/Makefile
- startup/unix/Makefile
- startup/unix/linux/Makefile
- startup/unix/solaris/Makefile
- startup/unix/macosx/Makefile
- startup/unix/hpux/Makefile
- dmakeroot.h
If the files are created, but left with size ZERO, something is probably very wrong...
